Solidarity with people in need

The Association Caritative Anglicane de Strasbourg (ACAS) acts in solidarity with people in need and offers them humanitarian assistance in Alsace and in many parts of the world. It seeks to:

– Raise awareness and educate on issues such as poverty, human freedom and development;

– Provide financial assistance to projects for relief and sustainable development, especially in the areas of education, migration and health care;

– Stimulate active voluntary service in the region.

Recent ACAS projects have included:
-
– Support for children’s education in Pakistan and Nigeria;
-
– Church reconstruction in Madagascar;
-
– Kitchen renovation for a theological institute in Kenya;
-
– Harvesting of rainwater for a local community in Rwanda;
-
– Solidarity and advocacy for migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in Strasbourg.
Members of St Alban’s and others are encouraged to become members of ACAS and to support these projects financially which provide hope and solidarity to many people at home and abroad.
