Anglican Exclusive: Art in the Cathedral

This Thursday 18th July at 6 pm (Note the change of date from what was announced last Sunday! at the Cathedral of Strasbourg, a unique opportunity for members and friends of St Alban’s to hear local artist Christoff Baron present a series of his works currently on exhibition at the cathedral. For those who are available, we will retire to a nearby restaurant afterwards for dinner.Contact Fr. Mark to let him know that you are coming.

Ce jeudi 18 juillet à 18h (Prenez note du changement de date !) à la cathédrale de Strasbourg, une occasion unique pour les membres et amis de St Alban de rencontrer l’artiste Christoff Baron et de l’entendre présenter une série de ses œuvres actuellement exposés à la cathédrale. Café Rivier: Help urgently needed.

From September onwards the Centre Mounier, where Sunday School sessions are held and we meet for coffee after the services, will become a building site, as the Dominican community carries out much-needed renovation work. Thanks to the generosity of Dr. Nick Rivier, a long-term member of our church, we will be able to use his apartment next door to the Centre Mounier on Sundays for Sunday School and coffee.  A certain amount of renovation work  is needed here and helpers are urgently required over the summer for a variety of jobs,  particularly for painting.

Photos for ACAS Calendar

Just a little message to wish you an excellent summer break and a safe return to Strasbourg, if you are travelling somewhere interesting.

In this context, do remember that we need some good photos for our 2018 ACAS calendar (your own amateur photos, please no photos of children and nothing downloaded from the Internet). Every little bit helps. And it’s for a good cause!

Un petit message en passant pour vous souhaiter un excellent été et un bon retour à Strasbourg si vous voyagez vers des horizons intéressants.

Dans ce contexte, rappelez-vous que nous avons besoin de bonnes photos pour notre calendrier ACAS édition 2018 (vos propres photos amateurs, pas de photos d’enfants et SVP pas de téléchargements Internet) Toute aide est bienvenue. C’est pour une bonne cause !
